SmartUp – Social Innovation Lab in partnership with the Pestalozzi Children’s Foundation, is implementing the project "EmpowerED: Digital Self-Assessment for Teachers", during the period December 2024 – November 2025.
This tool aims to digitize, clarify, and facilitate the process of creating a personal professional development plan for teachers, automatically generating ready-made plans for teachers, teaching teams, as well as a report reflecting the needs of teachers at the national level.
Digitization is planned through the creation of an interactive module that starts with self-assessment and leads to generating a personal professional development plan for teachers, along with a comprehensive database of teachers’ needs. This solution should make the process of creating a personal professional development plan more accessible, time-efficient, and effective for teachers, while the database will be used to generate reports on teachers’ needs for use by school teams and institutions.
